Annapolis-to-Newport Race returns in June 2019

Come be a part of one of the oldest ocean races on the East Coast! As one of the Official Race Headquarters of the 2019 Annapolis-to-Newport Race, the Newport Yachting Center can get you up close and personal with all of the drama and excitement associated with this historic competition.

Contestants start the 475 mile race on June 7th and 8th just south of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge and are expected to finish in Newport on June 10th and 11th. This year's race promises to be the most exciting ever with large and small boats in various classes, first-time entrants joining veteran skippers, and a never ending desire to best the record time of 40+ hours!
